Acer Iconia W510-1674 - The Dream Windows 8 Tablet Laptop

On 12/22/12, I bought my first tablet called the Asus Vivo Tab RT. It was one of the happiest days of my entire life. But the happiness only lasted for a few weeks until I realized the potential problem with Windows RT: I think it's a product that Microsoft should've never built. So I started looking for a solution, meaning let's get rid of this on Craigslist while the demand is still there and go buy a real Windows product. My advice to everybody: Don't buy anything with Windows RT, as the risk of obsolescence in the very near future is just too high.

So what did I settle myself on? Drum roll please...

It's called the Acer Iconia W510-1674. It is what I think is the best tablet laptop ever made so far. Why? For the following reasons:

1) Beautiful design. I just love the way it looks.
2) Ease of keyboard dock attachment & detachment.

One of the best ways to figure out a product's value is to just look at how many people are selling them on Craigslist. At the moment, I couldn't find anyone selling any of the new Acer Iconia products. This means everybody wants to hold onto theirs because they're worth it.

The only problems I have are minor:

1) Windows 8. I don't like those blocks, just like everybody else.
2) The slow speed of the CPU & RAM.

I've owned several laptops so far in my life, and I hated every single one of them for one reason or another. This is the first time in my entire life that I actually don't regret paying $475 (and no tax) for a brand new tablet & keyboard dock that normally sell for $499 + $149 (plus tax).

I think I'll be very happy until the real dream tablet laptop gets released, which will most likely be from Apple. My prediction is that at some point in the near future, the Macbook Air will become split into a tablet & detachable keyboard. I'll definitely be one of the first in line to buy that one.
