George R. R. Martin - A Song Of Ice And Fire

Today I'm proud to present a rare collection of out-of-print special edition books from George R. R. Martin, A Song Of Ice And Fire. All of the following books are from my personal library (the top ones are my reading copies and the bottom ones are for backup):

These are some of my favorite books ever, published by Harper Voyager. I love them because they are of the highest quality books that I can read again and again. But they're not perfect. There are two things I don't like about them:

1) A Dance With Dragons is a bit shorter than the others. As you can see from above, it is much more noticeable when you put two books on top of each other. I really think Harper Voyager dropped the ball on this one and it's a shame to see something like this on such a fine collection of books.

2) There is a limited numbered and signed version of A Feast For Crows. Only 1,000 copies were made in red color. My question to Harper Voyager is, why didn't you guys make them for the other books? You know I'll buy two copies of each. :P

So is there anybody out there who also has these books? If you do, please rate them (registration at Mediography.by is free):

* George R. R. Martin - How would you rate the author?

* A Song Of Ice And Fire - How would you rate the series itself?

* A Game Of Thrones (Special Edition) - How would you rate the special edition of book one?

* A Clash Of Kings (Special Edition) - How would you rate the special edition of book two?

* A Storm Of Swords (Special Edition) - How would you rate the special edition of book three?

* A Feast For Crows (Special Edition) - How would you rate the special edition of book four?

* A Dance With Dragons (Special Edition) - How would you rate the special edition of book five?

* A Feast For Crows (Signed And Numbered Limited Edition) - How would you rate the signed and numbered limited edition of book four?

Next month I'll present my all-time favorite collection, books from the one and only J. R. R. Tolkien. Stay tuned! ;)

P.S. A Song Of Ice And Fire will have two more books. I'll update this blog post when I add each of them to my collection. Also, the TV series and soundtracks will be entered into Mediography.by's media database in the near future. When it's done, all the data will be nicely cross-referenced. I can't wait to get this done.
